How Kyle Robertson is Building A HealthTech Empire

Few names ring so powerfully in the changing landscape of digital health as Kyle Robertson‘s. An entrepreneur and innovator in his own right, Robertson is perhaps best known as the founder and former CEO of Cerebral, the game-changing mental health platform that redefined mental healthcare . And now, he’s at it again with the same energy as the founder of Zealthy and the co-founder of Revolution Venture Studios (RVS)—both of which are bringing health innovation to a whole new level.

Kyle Robertson first rose to prominence as the founder of telehealth startup Cerebral in 2020. Founded just months before the pandemic began, Cerebral was developed in response to one of healthcare’s most confounding challenges: the lack of access to good mental health care.

With a model that combined virtual therapy with medication management and a user-friendly digital experience, Cerebral expanded with exponential growth to accumulate millions of users and achieve a spot among the country’s fastest growing digital health companies. Under Robertson’s leadership, Cerebral became a household name in telehealth —giving rise to a national discussion about the accessibility of mental health.

After building Cerebral from zero to a $4.8 billion industry leader, Kyle Robertson looked beyond mental health for his next mission. In 2023 he founded Zealthy, a telemedicine platform that provides direct-to-consumer treatment to hundreds of thousands of patients across the United States for a wide range of personal health and wellness needs including weight management, hair loss, sexual dysfunction and birth control.

Zealthy provides users with personalized plans that may include medications like Semaglutide and Tirzepatide combined with 1:1 coaching and regular care. From virtual appointments to care coordinated through its app, Zealthy allows users to tackle weight loss both safely and remotely.  The company also provides insurance coordination and affordable direct-to-consumer offerings—making it one of the most accessible products in a historically barrier-laden space.

While building Zealthy, Kyle Robertson also made time to open his own venture studio, something he had dreamed of doing for years. Revolution Venture Studios (RVS) uses a different model than typical VC firms or accelerators RVS works with founders in the ideation stage and offers everything from seed investment and product development to operating help and go-to-market strategy.

With a focus on healthtech, AI, and personal wellness, RVS is the expression of Robertson’s belief that great businesses result from great ideas and dogged execution. In its innovative “co-building” model, the studio enables entrepreneurs to turn ambitious plans into reality faster, smarter, and with less resistance.

One throughline is present in all of Kyle Robertson’s companies: tackling complicated human challenges with scalable tech-enabled solutions. From breaking down barriers to mental health care, redefining medical weight loss, to coaching other founders to build the next great thing, Robertson is always looking ahead to what’s next.

Kyle Robertson is not just building companies—he’s building an empire that is pioneering new possibilities for how we all receive care.
